Jewellery can say so much about you and it can certainly make or break your whole appearance.
Of course, it’s not only females who wear jewellery nowadays. Men’s jewellery seems to be just as important in today’s society. I still find it amusing that men are wearing jewellery, and wearing it so well.At this rate it isn’t going to be long before they out do us women in the fashion world.
There are plenty of male celebrities who make jewellery work for them.
A man well known to us all for his ever changing fashion sense is David Beckham. He always seems to combine his jewellery with his look and does it superbly. It’s not unusual to see Mr Beckham wearing silver necklaces and silver rings. I must say that some times he does come across as a bit effeminate, but he doesn’t seem to mind, so why should we?
Russell Brand is another cool male who wears a lot of jewellery. He has such a unique style all of his own which really works well for him. Now that he has just announced his plans to marry Katy Perry, I wonder if his style will alter at all. Will she manage to tame not only his personality but his flamboyant image I have my doubts on that one.
My favourite male who wears his jewellery well is Johnny Depp. It doesn’t seem to matter what he wears, how he wears it, what sort of style he is following, he always looks great.He has such a wonderful presence about him, that would be difficult to duplicate. It really is hard to picture a man looking better than our Johnny and I am sure many of you ladies will be in absolute agreement (and probably some of you men too!).
At the opposite end of the spectrum you have the young male stars who wear huge rapper looking chunky jewellery. I think it looks awful and some of it must weigh a tonne. According to my daughter, it would seem that ‘Chipmunk’ is a real hit at the moment. I assumed she was talking about Alvin and the Chipmunks, but no I was told I am out of touch and she was referring to the new young rapper. Unfortunately the style that this young hooligan follows says it all about what is going wrong with today’s society.If this is what Britain has to look forward to then God Help Us All.
